Psalm 91:4
He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
The God of the universe offers you a place under His arms. He offers His protection. He says that He will be your armor. He will be your shield. He will be your refuge. He will be your safety. He will be your security. This is so much better than an escape! You can’t build a life while you escape.
Today, be intentional about driving anything out that's distracting you from really talking to God. The thing that is distracting you from prayer is distancing you from God. The only way to build your life on the bedrock of Jesus, under His wings, armor and protection, is to talk to God about the stuff you're really struggling with. Do that today.
