When your heart is overwhelmed.

Series: Summer in the Psalms | Week 3: Take the High Ground

Psalm 61:1-3
O God, listen to my cry! Hear my prayer! From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety, for you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me.

The Psalmist is crying out to God, “I cry out to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed.”

You can change where you go when your heart is overwhelmed, and this can change everything for you. It begins by changing your prayer life, moving beyond surface-level talk with God, and getting real with God.
