Ephesians 2:10
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
The Bible does not point to a God who created you with mediocrity, failure, or aimless wandering in mind. God put more care, more attention, more detail, more effort into creating you because He had greatness in mind for you. The problem is that God’s idea of greatness, and God’s path to greatness, is nothing like the world’s idea of greatness and nothing like the world’s path to greatness.
What difference does it make in your life knowing that you are God’s masterpiece and that He planned good works for you to do long ago? Where have you bought into the world’s definition of greatness and been striving ‘up and to the right’ instead of asking God what His plan of greatness is for you?
