Matthew 11:10-11
John is the man to whom the Scriptures refer when they say, ‘Look, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, and he will prepare your way before you.' I tell you the truth, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist.

When John the Baptist questioned Jesus as Messiah, he was also questioning if he fulfilled his purpose. Jesus answers that question with a resounding ‘Yes!’ He even goes so far as to say ‘of all who ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist! John had gone all in on God’s calling for his life, he had prepared the way for Jesus—sacrificing everything to do so—and Jesus called him the greatest to ever live.

We often want to make a maximum impact with minimum sacrifice, but maximum impact truly comes at the cost of maximum sacrifice. Have you tried to get by with as little sacrifice as possible? What effect has that had on your level of impact? What changes do you need to make to have a maximum impact with your life?
