Commands to be resilient.

Series: Resilient | Week 3: Letting Go of What's Holding On To You

Isaiah 41:10
“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

In this verse from the book of Isaiah, God give us commands with promises. He commands us not to fear, to be resilient, and then promises to be with us, to strengthen us, help us, and hold us up. It is only as we get to know Him as our God, in all His glory, majesty, splendor, and holiness that we have the ability to carry out the commands to be resilient.

Respond in Prayer
Have you made the Maker of heaven and earth your Savior and your Lord? If you have any questions about what it means to do this,
reach out to us and someone from our team will be happy to come alongside you this week! If you are a follower of Jesus, spend some time worshipping God for His many attributes. He alone—nothing else in this world you may turn to—can give you strength, uphold you, and grant victory.

For Families with Kids at Home
This week, write out Isaiah 41:10 somewhere your family can see it, as a constant reminder for all of you that when you’re afraid, discouraged, need strength and help, God is here.
