The Park Areas Guidelines

Can we have a birthday party in The Park?

As Traders Point has grown, we have been able to expand many of our ministries and their programs within the local community. To accommodate this growth, we have had to restructure other services including birthday parties.

You and your family are welcome to come and visit The Park at any time, but please hold any birthday party festivities off-site before your arrival. Please keep the following guidelines in mind when planning your visit:

Due to space considerations, The Park operates on a first-come, first-serve basis due to capacity restrictions. Any party groups must be limited to ten guests.

The Park facilities may be in use by other guests and visitors. Activity and noise levels vary from day to day. Please plan accordingly.

When is The Park closed?

The Park will be closed during these holidays in 2017:
January 2 (Monday) – New Year’s Day
April 16 (Sunday) – Easter Sunday
May 29 (Monday) – Memorial Day
July 4 (Tuesday) – Independence Day
September 4 (Monday) – Labor Day
November 23 and 24 (Thursday and Friday) – Thanksgiving and the day after
December 22 and 25 (Friday through Monday) – Christmas

Please contact the church at or 317.769.5557 for weather-related closures. This information will be available on the weather prompt of the phone system. If media coverage shows that TPCC is closed, that also includes The Park.

Is it busy in The Park today? When is the slowest/least crowded time in The Park?

The activity level in The Park can be unpredictable. The slowest time of day is generally in the morning and near the end of the day. The Park tends to be busier than normal during cold or rainy days, holidays, or school breaks.

Do you have a lost and found?

Yes. If you think you might have left something in The Park, please check in with The Park attendant during your next visit. Items found in The Park are placed in lost and found for a limited period of time.

Can my babysitter/child care giver bring the kids to The Park?

Yes, as long as he or she is over the age of 18. Children under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by an adult.
