The Life Before Me – February 10 & 11

Knowledge is what we know. Wisdom is what we do with what we know.

Read these verses before your discussion:
Ecclesiastes 11-12

Dive deeper into this week’s sermon content. Use these questions to help guide your group discussion.

  1. Just because life doesn’t always go according to plan doesn’t mean there is no plan. Think back on some hard times, times you weren’t sure of the outcome, and share how you saw God’s plan on the other side. Is it possible God has a plan for what you’re facing now even if you can’t see it?

  2. Ecclesiastes 11:2 advises us to spread our investments around, not putting all our eggs in one basket. Are you giving too much of your time, money, or expertise to any one thing? What steps do you need to take to gain some balance? As a group, hold each other accountable for these steps.

  3. Discuss these three questions as they apply to your time reading the Bible:
What is God saying to me?
Is it consistent with his word?
What am I going to do with it and when?
