Psalm 139:17-18
How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!
God knows the good, bad, and the ugly things we hide so well from everyone else. But, He still wants a relationship with us. His thoughts about us are described in Psalm 139 as “precious.”
All of our secrets are fully known by God, and He still considers us to be precious!
Today, meditate on this, which means to allow God to fill your heart with this truth. Consider what terms you use to describe yourself. Do they correspond with the way God thinks of you? If not, ask God to help you see yourself as He does: precious to Him.
