We are one in Christ.

Galatians 3:26-28
For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.

In the Old Testament, the temple area was reserved solely for Jews. No Gentiles (non-Jews) were allowed in. A massive curtain separated the Holy of Holies from every other area. At every stage of the temple there was a symbolic “keep out” sign. But Jesus came and turned the whole thing upside-down. The moment He laid down His life, this curtain tore and God declared, ‘no more keep out signs.’ The kingdom of God is a place where all are invited – every ethnicity, religious background, tribe, tongue and nation. In Christ, we are one.

Where do you need to replace some of the signs in your life? Ask God to show you people to whom you can say: You’re invited. Come sit with me. Can I help you take your next step? This is a safe place. It’s OK to not be OK. Find help and hope.
