1 Peter 2:24
He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.
You are not your sins. You are not your past. You are not your divorce. You are not the assault. You are loved. You are forgiven. You are worthy. The walk of shame is done! All because of the freedom that Jesus offers.
Remember today:
Shame says: You are the worst thing that you’ve ever done.
Jesus says: You are the best thing that I’ve ever done.
Shame tries to steal your identity.
Jesus says: Take mine.
