Jesus, remember.

Series: Summer in the Psalms | Week 1: Walk of Shame

Psalm 25:6-7 NIV
Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, Lord, are good.

Shame steals your identity and forces you into submission. Shame forces you to say, "I am the worst thing that I’ve ever done, or that has been done to me."

When shame comes, you need reminders of God's great mercy and love.

Today, in your battle against shame, you can pray:
Remember this: Your great mercy and love.
Don’t remember this (the playground of shame): The sins of my youth and my rebellious ways.
Remember me according to Your love for, for You, Lord, are good.

Start your prayers this week with, “Jesus, remember…”
