Infinite value of knowing Christ.

Series: Good News! | Week 4: The Benefit is Ours

Philippians 3:7-9
“I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with Him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God’s way of making us right with Himself depends on faith.”

Respond
1. What in your life has infinite value? Ask God now to help you truly know Him better, beyond just knowing about Him or having intellectual knowledge of Him. Pray that He would grow your personal relationship with Jesus to the point that it holds infinite value to you.
2. As your relationship with Jesus begins to hold more value to you, ask Him to show you anything in your life that need to hold less value. Pray He would grow you to the point of being able to see everything as worthless compared to the value of knowing Jesus.
