I can't do this alone.

Series: Summer in the Psalms | Week 1: Walk of Shame

Psalm 25:4-5 NIV
Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.

Shame isn’t something that we can wish away. It’s aggressive, and you need something to go after it.

David starts with reaching out to something bigger and stronger than himself--God. He admits and confesses, "I can’t do this alone."

This is where we all have to start. If you're dealing with shame today, get aggressive in dealing with it by praying, "God I need your help. Teach me Your ways and teach me Your paths. Guide me. Lead me Lord."
