Be part of all that God's doing in our Vision Lanes.

Back to All

Drifting from your lane.

Week 1: Course Correction

Day 1

Proverbs 4:10-13
My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life. I will teach you wisdom’s ways and lead you in straight paths. When you walk, you won’t be held back; when you run, you won’t stumble. Take hold of my instructions; don’t let them go. Guard them, for they are the key to life.

Jeremiah 6:16
This is what the Lord says: “Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls."

With the heart of a loving father, God provides laws and guidelines—wisdom—to keep us from drifting from our lane. These “rumble strips” exist to alert us of danger while we are still in the safety zone so that we can arrive at our desired destination in life.

God’s laws and guidelines exist not as a requirement to become His children, but because we are already His children! He loves us too much not to look out for us.

Today, trust that God’s laws, His “rumble strips,” keep you from drifting from the path and guide you safely to your destination. As you meet with your group this week, share how God’s rumble strips might be alerting you about drifting from your lane.
