Don't fear the nose dive.

Day 5

Proverbs 16:1-9
We can make our own plans, but the Lord gives the right answer. People may be pure in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their motives. Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed. The Lord has made everything for his own purposes, even the wicked for a day of disaster. The Lord detests the proud; they will surely be punished. Unfailing love and faithfulness make atonement for sin. By fearing the Lord, people avoid evil. When people’s lives please the Lord, even their enemies are at peace with them. Better to have little, with godliness, than to be rich and dishonest. We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.

Don’t fear the nose dive. Trust your instruments. Trust his plan. Don’t fear the unknown. Don’t think that even for a second you could be alone. Take away the anxiety and the fear of crashing. Commit it all to God.

Trust that God is working even in the brokenness, that he can use it all for your good. Even when you can’t see how this is going out work out, trust God. When God’s instruments--like reading the Bible daily or meeting in a group--and your feelings are conflicting, trust God. Learn to look to God, more than your own understanding. That’s where you find the wisdom of God for your life.
