Dave Jamerson – Minister of Outreach

Dave is the Minister of Outreach, responsible for helping to create a comprehensive outreach strategy for the church where every member is inspired and equipped to become an evangelist in their sphere of influence, and for TPCC to be an effective missional church in our local communities. It is also his desire, because of TPCC's unique position of influence in the community, to do Kingdom-collaborative works that will advance the Kingdom of God in central Indiana and beyond.
Family: Wife: April (we have been married for 15 years); children: Bret, Elijah, Trey, and Mia
Hometown: Born on August 13, 1967 in Clarksburg, West Virginia; grew up in Stow, Ohio (40 minutes south of Cleveland for those who are not up on their northeastern Ohio geography)
Educational Background: Graduated from Stow High School in 1985 and Ohio University in 1990 with a degree in Journalism/Public Relations.
Career Background:

Drafted in the first round of the 1990 NBA draft by the Miami Heat and traded on draft day to the Houston Rockets

Member of the Houston Rockets from 1990-1993. Also, played professionally with the Utah Jazz and New Jersey Nets, as well as in the CBA with the Omaha Racers and the Rochester Renegades.

1995 - 2003 served as the International Director for Champions for Christ, International, a ministry that focused on seeing not only the athletic world impacted for the glory of God, but seeing the world impacted through athletes

2001 - 2007 served on the national ministry team for the NABC for all Christian activities associated with the NCAA Final Four and Convention

2003 - 2007 served as the Senior Pastor of the Every Nation Church in Carmel, Indiana. What started out as a Bible study to the Indianapolis Colts developed into a thriving congregation in the heart of Carmel.

2005 Founder and President of Champions Academy, a not for profit basketball training academy using the platform of sport to inspire and equip the next generation of basketball leaders

Hobbies: I love to travel and see new places and experience new cultures; I enjoy outdoor activities, I love the beach and family vacations, working out, reading, and watching sporting events
Best part about his job: I get to do something that I really enjoy and am passionate about with a group of people that I enjoy and respect. Knowing that you can make an eternal impact into the lives of people is very rewarding.
