Aaron Brockett – Lead Minister

As the Lead Minister, Aaron is the primary communicator and vision caster for the church as he serves shoulder-to-shoulder with the Elders and staff to equip people in our community to love God, love others, and serve the world.
Family: He and his wife Lindsay have one son, Conor, and two daughters, Campbell and Kennedi
Hometown: Joplin, MO
Educational Background: BA in Bible and Ministry from Ozark Christian College
Career Background: Aaron was the pastor of a couple of churches while in college, then started a church in Northern California, and most recently was a teaching minister at a church in Louisville, Kentucky
Hobbies: Basketball, snow skiing, reading, and riding his motorcycle
Best part about his job: Seeing God change the lives of ordinary people and then having a front row seat to watch them live out their faith in fresh and creative ways.
Interesting things to know about Aaron:
- He learned to snow ski in college by following wealthy people down the mountain at a distance during their private lessons
- He single-handedly reeled in a 75-pound marlin on a deep sea fishing trip (with the help of 3 other guys)
- He once flew a glider at 30,000 feet in Nevada with zero flight experience and no lessons (with the exception of Microsoft Flight Simulator)
- Country music makes him nauseous
