Serve in the High School Ministry

Life Group Leader

We believe that life change happens best in smaller groups. Each Sunday night, directly after Catalyst, we break our large group down into life groups. Each group is between six to eight students and one to two adult leaders. Leaders are responsible for directing the conversation, engaging the students in discussion, and being available as a mentor. Leaders are asked for two to three hours per week in connection with students.

Catalyst Café Cook

Each Sunday night we provide food for the students that attend Catalyst and we need volunteers to help prepare the food. Cooks arrive at the kitchen at 4:45 p.m. and have the food up to The Block by 5:30 p.m. This is as simple as warming up pizza rolls and mozzarella sticks. Students eagerly anticipate the food before Catalyst and we appreciate our cooks helping us maintain this ministry.

Serve in the Middle School Ministry

Check-In

 We need people who are willing to get here 15 minutes before service starts, fire up the computers, and make sure the students are checking in. Each week we will see anywhere from 80-120 students walk in through those doors and we want to make sure everyone is safely accounted for.

Breakfast Café

 Each week, food is provided, but we need volunteers to help distribute the food and drinks. This is a very important job as middle school students LOVE food.

Life Group Assistants

A life group assistant comes along side a life group leader and helps them in whatever ways they need. Depending on who you work with, this could mean cutting out pages, passing out papers, or even helping teach a small portion of the lesson. This is the first step in becoming a life group leader and we would want you to get a feel for what is happening before we ever had you jump into being a leader.

Tech Team

Our worship department is always in need of volunteers who are willing and able to run sound, lights, or the slides that go up on the big screens. Even if you have no knowledge of how our system runs, we are always willing to train you and help you understand how the system works.
