Meeting Basic Needs (benevolence) – Serving those in need

Impacting lives by being a “neighbor” and showing God’s love

The Benevolence Ministry makes a difference everyday in the lives of those in our congregation and community. This ministry strives to establish and maintain a caring, confidential program of providing material and physical aid to those who cannot provide for their own needs during difficult times.

The Benevolence Ministry meets monthly to strategically plan TPCC's outreach to those in need. Through this ministry, you have the opportunity to help identify, coordinate, and provide service to individuals and families in need. Hands-on volunteer opportunities include:

  • Prepare and coordinate the Giving Tree at Christmas
  • Organize food collection through Bag Hunger
  • Assemble Survival Kits for the homeless
  • Prepare and coordinate Jireh Back to School service
