We are Kids Involved in Doing life together and Serving others through
Biblical Learning, Adoring the Lord through Song and praise, and
Telling others about Christ!
Preschool and Elementary-aged children have a BLAST by learning about Jesus! TPCC’s Children’s Ministry for children through five years old is Wee Blast. Young children learn about Jesus and the Bible in age-specific, well-equipped nurseries and classrooms. If needed, parents are reached during Sunday morning worship services through a silent pager system in the Worship Center and adult Bible study classrooms.

Nursery, ages 0 to 14 months:
All babies are held, rocked, and read to by caring, attentive volunteers. Children age six to 14 months also hear a simple Bible lesson. |
| • |
Toddlers, ages 15 to 23 months:
Children are made to feel secure during this anxious time in a child’s development. These children are taught a weekly Bible lesson. |
| • |
Twos:
Children begin to learn sharing, how to obey, and how to sit still for short periods of time as they are taught a weekly Bible lesson. |
| • |
Threes:
Children work on areas of obedience such as sitting still, being quiet during story time, and sharing toys during free play. They are taught a weekly Bible lesson and are introduced to Scripture memory work and worship through song. |
| • |
Fours:
Preschoolers learn Bible lessons, memorize scripture, and learn what worship is. They learn to worship through music during Preschool Praise time and begin to learn about missions and helping others. |
| • |
Fives:
Children who are not yet ready for kindergarten or who have missed the age cut-off continue with bible lessons, scripture memory work, and other skills to prepare them for kindergarten. They worship through music during Preschool Praise time. |
Preschool Promotion Policy:
Children are promoted to the next preschool class at the beginning of the next quarter after their birthday.
Baby Day:
Baby Day is a time for the church and parents to commit to teaching the newest TPCC additions about Jesus. Held semi-annually, member parents and their infants are introduced to the congregation during Sunday services. Contact Pam Bucher at pbucher@tpcc.org or 769.5557 for more information.
Summer Day Camp:
Those who complete kindergarten have their first opportunity to attend Camp Allendale, a Christian summer day camp located in Trafalgar, Indiana. For more information, click here.
