Here's What We Do Each Sunday!
Sunday mornings are a BLAST!
Our Sunday Morning experience takes place in The Multi-Purpose Room, as kids from grades first through fifth meet together for a time of worship, learning, and FUN! We have the same virtue, theme, and biblical lesson in both services, yet do change our worship set and approach to the lesson to keep it interesting.
Our morning begins with a time of interaction with both peers and leaders, as kids engage in activities ranging from activity sheets, Legos, action figures, and video games before we transition to large group to begin our worship. After the welcome and announcements, we jump to our feet to praise our God with song, and yes, it gets a bit crazy during worship time! During this time of worship, we also slow down for a few moments to offer communion for those kids that are followers of Jesus. we explain and lead into this with intentionality and prayer each week.
Following worship, we open our Bibles and teach God’s Word in a fun and memorable way! We use a children’s curriculum by the ReThink Group called 252 Basics, which is built upon Luke 2:52, "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man."
After our large group time, we divide into grade specific small groups. It is during this time that the biblical lesson is really made applicable by the small group leaders who bring it to life with examples and hands on learning and interaction. This is where we get to connect and form relationships that are so important in our spiritual lives and growth by talking, reading from the Word, and praying together.
We take the safety and security of your child very seriously. Each person in our ministry has a criminal background check completed, as well as being throughly iterviewed and trained.
We also have a very secure method for tracking and registering your child each week as we utilize an electronic check in system that allows you peace of mind and a way of reaching you (if need be) during one of our morning services.
