Find help in times of need

Caring, responding, and sharing

Are you in a crisis and are struggling to meet your basic needs? This ministry offers you personal and confidential physical and material support to help you get back on track.

Assistance to pre-qualified persons includes housing assistance such as mortgage and/or rent payment, utility payment, and basic household items and furniture. Food vouchers and automobile gas cards are also issued. If you are not yet a member of the church, allow 7-10 days for a screening process to determine your needs. This assessment is facilitated by the Benevolence Ministry Executive Team.

Member/Attendee Assistance Request Process:

  1. Contact the church office at 317.769.5557 to complete an Assistance Request Form and meet with the Benevolence Director to discuss the need.
  2. The Benevolence Director and/or the Benevolence Ministry Executive Team will make a decision on the request and contact the applicant no later than 10 to 12 business days.

Non-Attendee Assistance Request Process:

  1. Contact the church office at 317.769.5557 to be referred to the Church Care Clearinghouse for screening.
  2. Allow 10 to 12 business days for the screening process.
