Interesting things to know about Rod:

• I continue to strive to be a “hopeless romantic.” Barb is still waiting!
• Leaving cabinet doors open annoys him greatly. 
• Always uses the “people movers” at major airports. 
• Finally, he was nearly written up as AWOL (absent without leave) while in the Air Force serving as Base Veterinarian. It seems he forgot to sign off the base one weekend and a subsequent alert recall found him “unaccounted for.”  This little mental lapse required a visit to the Hospital Commanders office to explain (beg) why he should not have been written up (bad doctor!).
