As the HR Assistant, Kathleen handles hiring, new employee orientations, employee benefits, employee payroll and leave, staff recognition awards, and other related HR functions.

Family: My husband Pat and I reside in Zionsville and we have one son, Evan

Hometown: I grew up in Mooresville and lived there until I was 27 years old

Educational Background: BA in Secondary Education (Major: English) from IUPUI

Career Background: I worked for the U.S Postal Service for 10 years serving at the District Office in Human Resources most of that time. I also worked for the City of Carmel in Human Resources serving as the liaison between the Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation Department and the City of Carmel.

Hobbies: I like playing sports. Currently (and because I am getting older), my favorite sports are tennis and softball. I also play a lot of sports (some traditional and some made-up) with my very energetic son.

Best part about her job: Getting to work with people that I highly respect and admire and getting to be a small part of God’s awesome plans

Interesting things to know about Kathleen:

• I like to play practical jokes and pranks, and I am long overdue!!!!
• When I was a newspaper reporter, I interviewed Soviet President Boris Yeltsin at a hog farm in Hendricks County.
• I can say the books of the bible BACKWARDS in one breath. Just kidding. I can’t.
