Jayla is a key part of the Preschool Ministry staff responsible for engaging weekly programming and equipping volunteers who lead preschool children and their families.

Family: Jayla is married to Shawn Dilbeck, TPCC's very own "Rock Star" worship leader, and she's a mother to three beautiful T's- Tucker, Taylor, and Tessa.   

Hometown: Albion, Illinois - the Chowder Capital of the World

Educational Background: She began her college career at Lincoln Christian College and, a handful of colleges later, completed her schooling with a Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from Eastern Kentucky University.  

Career Background: As a speech language pathologist, Jayla has taught others in school and health care settings about communication disorders. Her most favorite experience was working alongside preschool teachers to enhance children's learning in the classroom.

Hobbies: Jayla loves being a mom and ministering to others. She feels "balanced" when her house is clean and everyone is happy!

Best part about her job: She gets to engage preschoolers in singing and dancing for their Creator while building future worship leaders.

Interesting things to know about Jayla:

• She met her husband at church camp when she was just 15 years old.
• She was also crowned Little Miss Pork Queen at age 7, which makes her kids think that she's a "real" princess!
