About three years ago, I started sending out a weekly verse via e-mail. As I have met people, I just add them to the e-mail distribution list and the list has grown. The other day I received a response to the weekly e-mail from someone who I had met once (Brett) and added to the list about three years ago. I replied and asked what he was doing these days. It turns out Brett speaks Spanish and is working in Miami, Florida. Matt and Janie Mehaffey, former Student Minister and Communications Director at TPCC, are currently in Miami working to plant a church. I figured that Matt could use an extra Spanish-speaking person to help him get the church going. So I introduced Matt and Brett, and now they are going to get together to discuss the possibilities! I was so excited when I started thinking about how God was working through all of this! And how my chance meeting with Brett three years ago was being used by God in a city 1,200 miles away! As encouragement to anyone who reads this, you don’t have to be a superhero. Just stay focused on God and be available to Him…and He will take care of the rest! Praise God!
