When I think about the ways in which God has blessed my life, my first thought always goes to my beautiful wife, Kelly. She is living proof that the verse about God giving you more than you could ever ask or imagine is not just empty talk. I have grown more in the last year and a half than I ever could have otherwise. She is amazing and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life learning how to love her more.

I also have an amazing small group. The discussions we have each Wednesday are one of the highlights of my week, but that is only the beginning. There is a sense of community that we have that is another one of God’s great blessings in my life. These are the people that I can share my life with openly and honestly and receive acceptance and love.

Third, I feel blessed to have found a church like Traders Point where God’s Word is preached and God’s love is shown every week. There is a strong commitment to preaching the truth, but also to practice what is preached. There is an expectation that we will not simply hear the Word, but do what it says and that is what I need to keep me sharp spiritually. These are just a few of the myriad of blessings that God has poured into my life.
