What role do you play in the Young Adults Ministry?
I’m the group leader for the family area of young adults which encompasses any young adult with children no matter what the family composition
What is your favorite thing about yourself?
My sense of humor
Give three adjectives that describe you
Cheerful, empathetic, easy-going
Choose a unique item from your wallet/purse and explain why you carry it around
I love movies so I carry around my 5 Buck Club Card for Kerasotes Theaters. Everyone should have one.
Grab a coin from your pocket and tell something that happened to you in the year that is listed on the coin. (If not yet born, make up a story!)
And the quarter says… 2006 – Had to think about that one… In March of that year, we were doing a Young Adult Sunday Service and I gave the communion meditation. I was really nervous before both services, but at the moment I gave the meditation there was this overwhelming calm that swept through me. God was there and He covered for me. It was one of those “so-close-to-God-that-you-can-touch-Him” moments. Those are the moments that get me through the trials and droughts in my life.
What do you do most often when you’re bored?
Trust me. I have no time to be bored. I have a two-year old.
If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
Mmm… probably Goldenrod or Atomic Tangerine
What song best describes you when you wake up in the morning?
Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd)
If you could get any actor or actress to play you in a film about your life, who would you pick and why?
That’s a tough one. I’ve heard I have a certain Jack Black resemblance so he would be cool, but on the inside I’m more of a Matthew McConaughey or Matthew Fox.
What kind of cell phone do you have?
I actually have two. My personal cell phone is a LG VX4500 I think… it doesn’t say the model number and I don’t recall. My work toy is an AT&T Tilt. I say toy because it’s awesome, but not something I would buy for myself otherwise.
